Asian Council of Science editors is pleases to announce the appointment of Mr. Charley Miao as Regional Director of the ACSE from Beijing, China.
Mr. Charley Miao has been working as Director of TrendMD China; Based in Toronto, Canada and established in 2014, TrendMD helps scholarly publishers to grow their readership and increase their international visibility by recommending content across top scholarly sites and extending journal platforms unlimitedly. Before joining TrendMD, Mr. Miao once served in Higher Education Press (Chief Acquisition Editor), Elsevier (Project Manager), Oxford University Press (Publisher) and CNKI International Publishing Center (Deputy Director).
During 2011 and 2012, Charley Miao worked as COPE Council Member and Director. Since 2013, Mr. Miao also works as Vice Chair of CCMHJPE (Chinese Committee of Medical and Health Journals on Publication Ethics).
Congratulations to Mr. Charley Miao for new role on the ACSE Board. Certainly your willingness to volunteer your time and effort, as well as expressing your opinions, has contributed a lot to being selected for this post. We wish you all the very best as you represent us and now a part of ACSE’s Family.
